Monday Morning Star Count - Removing the Last Row of Templates

The ring of hexagons for the flip edge is attached all of the way around and I have started taking out the templates.  After that I’ll trim the excess batting and backing fabric, then flip the edge to stitch it down.

I’m so close!

Just a tiny bit more and you've reached your goal - and it is only the beginning of the cold season. You'll be snug under this quilt for a LONG time this winter.

Oh I can't wait to see this quilt completed. I save scraps all year to stitch the hexes in the winter. i get bored easily with repetition so this will be a slow process quilt for sure for me.

Congrats on your almost finish! I've done a couple small projects with this flip method and love the look. Can't wait to see your finished project!
