Sanuki Folk Craft Museum

The Folk Craft Museum is located inside Ritsurin Garden Park and is made up of the New Folk Craft Museum, the Furniture Museum, the Roof Tile Museum, and the Old Folk Craft Museum.  There are about 1,000 items on display.  It's about a 20 minute walk from Takamatsu Station and is included in the entrance fee to Ritsurin Garden.  I was excited to see all the different local crafts on display. I'm pretty sure I'll visit here again.

Ooo this does look like a nifty museum to visit. Love the beautiful textiles and the furniture bits. I always gravitate towards furniture exhibits!

My daughter would think she died and went to heaven in this museaum. She loves and collects oriental items, especially Japanese. I think her favorite piece is a prayer house she found in an antique shop more than 20 years ago. Bet you enjoyed this visit.
Happy Easte
