Work In Progress Wednesday - Wool Door Hanger Start

I saw Beth's recent wool bookcover finish (Beth's Needlework Stash) and decided to start a wool project of my own.  I received this door hanger kit as a gift.  It contained the instructions and the wool.  The instructions don't specify what kind of thread to use, so I am using DMC floss.  So far so good.

Beth's book cover finished great. I like wool for its texture and depth of color.
Good choice for a project.

I have never worked with wool, but I see a lot of neat work done with it. Maybe someday I'll give it a try.

Looking good. How does it feel to use wool in the hot summer?

Thanks for the link to my blog. And I have started another project with wool as I loved my last one so much. Will have to post a photo soon.
