2017 - A Brand New Start

Welcome Year of the Rooster.

My big goal for 2017 is to get healthy - have my arm heal and finish the chemotherapy, continue walking and trying to eat healthy.  A big goal, but do-able.

I like my job and the area where I live and hope the company continues my employment.

I want to get back to stitching, just waiting for my arm to heal.  I have several (expensive) canvas pieces I'd like to stitch.  I want to participate in the Smalls Stitch A Long again to make some ornaments.  I also have some big quilt projects I'd like to work on and finish if I can.

This year I want to be mindful of how fortunate I am and to be thankful every day.

Happy New Year!! I believe in positive thinking...don't let anyone deter me from it. I watched the New Year come in at different countries throughout the day yesterday. It was cool to see the balloons released in Tokyo which held wishes. I like that idea. Tell the Universe what you want.

I will continue to visit and see what you are up to. It's always a great visit. Thank you for blogging and continuing to share a part of your life with us.
Happy New Year.
xx, Carol

Here's to a Happy and Healthy New Year! I'm enjoying reading your blog! Roses and Hibiscuses are my favorite and my brother was stationed in Japan....it was about 20 years ago, but he really enjoyed his time over there! Wishing you all the best for this New Year!
