Work In Progress Wednesday - Rose Afghan Finish

Yes, that's correct!  A finish!  I thought I would work on the afghan a week, then go back to working on Mary, but I kept working on it. At first I was going to put hearts in the blank squares, but I didn't like how that looked, so I changed to tiny rose buds.   I unraveled the edges and tied groups of eight threads together to make the fringe.

This is the first of my 17 in 2017 projects to be finished.

Congratulations, Pamela, on such a wonderful finish. And the little rose buds in the empty squares are the perfect solution.

What a great finish! I think it looks better this way than with big motifs in each of the squares. Congrats on sticking with it!
