Work In Progress Wednesday - Rose Afghan Finish

Yes, that's correct!  A finish!  I thought I would work on the afghan a week, then go back to working on Mary, but I kept working on it. At first I was going to put hearts in the blank squares, but I didn't like how that looked, so I changed to tiny rose buds.   I unraveled the edges and tied groups of eight threads together to make the fringe.

This is the first of my 17 in 2017 projects to be finished.

  11. What a great finish! I think it looks better this way than with big motifs in each of the squares. Congrats on sticking with it!
