Work In Progress Wednesday - More Background

Many people find this background stitching boring, but I'm not minding it.  I feel very tired most of the time and I don't have to think or check the chart for this.  I can stitch in the evening and listen to an audio book.  Hopefully I'll be feeling more lively when it comes time to do the beads.

The kogin project is coming along slowly. I usually get one length of thread in each day. This is also a relaxing stitching piece.  I don't have to look at a chart since it is a repeating pattern.  I look at the last section to repeat the current section.

The beauty with repeats is that you don't need to shift your look between the chart and the stitching, instead you just look a few lines down and know exactly what to do.

Good progress, Pamela.
It helps me if I have to do some repetitive work to set a time limit on it or
I'll work so many inches. I don't use the word 'boring.'
It's usually the people who use that word all the time that are boring.

Good progress on both your projects. I also love having one project where I just have to do some mindless stitching. That's the one I pull out when I'm a bit tired.

Great progress on both. I too do enjoy such repetitive work sometimes, in the right mindset it's not boring at all!
