Shibori - Kogin Bag Finish

I stitched this kogin panel a couple of weeks ago.

I decided to make it into a draw string bag with shibori fabric I had for the outside and red wool kimono fabric for the lining.

I stitched it all by hand and am very pleased with how it turned out.

A beautiful match of shibori and Kogin. Great colours and the red is adding a nice surprise when you look inside.

Completely wonderful in all ways ..... colours, cottons, stitching ..... just wonderful! There is nothing wrong with hand stitching ..... I keep trying to persuade friends to hand stitch, so I'm really happy to see your pretty make!
Well done you!!!
