Work in Progress Wednesday - Spread the Love

I read about the Spread the Love Doll Quilt project at Crafty Tokyo Mama 2.  She links with Bernie at Needle and Foot to tell readers about Amy Jandrisevits, who is owner and creator of A Doll Like Me.  It's a long post and I encourage you to read it.  Briefly, Amy creates dolls that look just like children who have all types of medical challenges. Bernie's project is to make quilts for Amy to give to children with her dolls. (Really, you need to read her post.)

So, this week, I made a simple doll-sized quilt and plan to get it in the mail as soon as I can.

I encourage you to think about making and sending one too.  Check out the links above to see what this is about. Spread the Love.

Thank you so much for spreading the word and for joining in yourself! Using a house block as the focus will be so meaningful to the child who receives it. Lovely work!

What a lovely project! I don't quilt but it's heart warming how people all over the world join in with something like this.
