Week 7,  June 10 - 16

70, 68, 75, 79, 75, 66,  63

Sarah at Sarah Did It! is continuing to host us on Wednesdays, so please check out the temperatures around the world.  Feel free to join it!

I am reporting the high temperature of each day.  My Year Two temperature/color (Fahrenheit) scheme remains the same:

100 + Brown

90-99 Red

80-89 Orange

70-79 Yellow

60-69 Green

50-59 Blue

40-49 Purple

30-39 Pink

20-29 White

10-19 Black

Year One Progress

I live in a small apartment and don't have a good way to display, so I have it hung by clothes pins.  You get the idea any way.

Nice work and your top looks good with the border to frame the hexagons.
And clothes pins get the job done.
I use pieces of painters tape to hang my 'design wall', a piece of flannel.

Good borders for last years quilt.
This week you will have to take out your RED fabric, if you were in Tokyo anyway. Prepare for the heat!

Lovely to see year 1 all together! How big did it end up?

Pamela said...

I think it is about 58 inches by 65 inches. I could put another border on it, but I think it is big enough.

Lovely flower and lovely progress on the first quilt too. Did you write some of the info just on there with a sharpie or something? Will it keep when the quilt is washed?

Such nice, cool temps. I am quite jealous as we are looking to beat a 117 year old record this weekend. your year 1 quilt looks fantastic - I kinda stalled on mine but I hope to get back to it this summer as I have Friday's off in the summer and only sew :)
