Haruka

Have you heard of the citrus fruit, haruka?  Until recently, I hadn't either! It's yellow, like a lemon, but sweet.  One of the places Haruka are grown is here on the island of Shikoku, in the nearby prefecture of Ehime. When I was out and about yesterday I was offered a sample of the fruit and I liked it so much I bought a little bag of them.

Beautiful citrus, they look a lot like lemons, but they're sweet?

You must get to try so many new foods Pamela. Is haruka like lemonade in a peel?

Wow. I'd never heard of that citrus fruit. I'll probably never find it around here.
