I have a lot of ornaments and Christmas stitching, but not so much for the other holidays. I have two items for Halloween, and even though Halloween is an American holiday, I pull out these two things every October. I do it because I like the stitching, not so much because I like Halloween. Do you decorate with Halloween stitched items?
As Halloween is not celebrated in Sweden, I have not made any stitched decorations (actually the only Halloween decoration I have is a small Snoopy doll sitting on a pumpkin). Last year, I made a Sunbonnet Sue stitch sampler with a Halloween theme. I will put that sampler on display. Thanks for inspiring me!
Thirty years ago in Japan, even if people knew about Halloween, very few people decorate or celebrated it. However, now it has become an event that many people can enjoy. But, I feel that many Japanese people have the arbitrary interpretation that Halloween is a day to enjoy dressing up. Especially adults. The ghost on the frame is a cute ghost.👻
Cute stitching! I do decorate with most of my Halloween stitching but not really this year. I've got some stressful things going on right now so I'm not feeling it. Happy Halloween!
Lovely stitchings, I think that fall colors and smiling orange pumpkins bring joy in the house. But I must also say that my Halloween stitching isn't framed so still in a box! xxx
I'm the same, not a huge fan of Halloween, but I do enjoy the designs and colours and have some to put out! I forgot this year though, life has been very busy.
These are both awfully cute.

ReplyDeleteI don't decorate for Halloween, and only started stitching for the Hop. It has added a bit of variety to my stitching themes that is for sure.
ReplyDeleteTwo lovely ornaments, I always mix my Halloween with my autumn ornaments which stay up until 1st Dec when winter starts bbbrrrrr
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking part in the Spooky Link-up this year. You know I love all the spooky stitching! I have more for Halloween than Christmas myself.
ReplyDeleteI am a big Halloween fan, I love it all!
ReplyDeleteThese two look great, I hope you'll do more?
