Beady fob progress - I was able to get six sets (front and back) on the piece of fabric. From left to right, the DMC variegated colors are 106, 94, 108, 111, 115, and 105. I have started the second step stitches on the red, using DMC 104. This project is good for using up small pieces of fabric, good for a carry along project, and great for little gifts. I think I’ve made hundreds of them.
Blackwork progress - the stitching is finished. Next I will work on finish finishing it. It measures nearly 12 in x 12 in.
I'm the proud owner of one such beaded fob, and my heart takes a joyful skip every time I see it. I can verify they are great gifts.
Another emotional reaction is when I look at your Blackwork. In this case, my jaw drops, my mouth falls open, and I am in awe at the fabulous work. It is a stunning piece of embroidery.
