Friday Finish - Necktie Zipper Pouch

Using the leftover pieces from the necktie bag I previously made, I made a little zipper pouch. (stitched by hand and a little wonky) This project was finished before my trip.

  1. That's a great way to recycle old ties!
I find such small pouches very practical when I use a 'dig-in' bag, i.e. a larger bag without any pockets. I can sort my belongings into groups and allocate a pouch each for these groups. Many ladies carry a makeup bag for their cosmetics, but I also have an electronics pouch for earphones, mobile battery, charger and cords, a snack bag for dried fruit, throat pastils, nuts etc. This system makes it easier to find what I am trying to dig out of the large bag.

  4. You've successfully done all the recycling of ties. You are wonderful because you can easily make it by hand sewing.😊
I've never done it, but I feel like I can't saw the zipper property.😒
