It'...These are so delicious, aren't they ? It's the perfect season for them too, here in Belgium. They're called "mandarines", and the variety without seeds are "clémentines". We use to celebrate St Nicolas on 6th December. It's the children's St patron, and on that day the kids get présents, sweets and... mandarines (IF they've been good, of course!) :) - We also celebrate Christmas and Santa Claus, but the main gifts are for the elderly, and of course an endless meal with the whole family around the table, near the Christmas tree...<br />Each time I smell a mandarine perfume, it immediately brings me back to my childhood.
