I’ve
finished two more beaded ornaments, one done with purple and olive beads on a
clear glass ornament and one done with black, olive and blue beads on a frosted
ornament.

Health and Sports Day
Today
is Taiiku no Hi or Health and Sports
Day. This national holiday was established in 1966 as a day on which to enjoy
sports and cultivate a healthy mind and body. Originally held on October 10 to
commemorate the anniversary of the opening ceremony of the 1964 Tokyo Olympics,
in 2000 it was changed to the second Monday of October in accordance with the
Happy Monday System.
Beautiful ornaments. The frosted glass makes a huge difference to the final look doesn't it. Enjoy your day off.
