This is
what I’ve accomplished this week on my new project. (And no, I haven’t finished
the last set into the sewing pouch yet.) Three flowers and 17 additional
hexagons, in shades of blue.
I’d
like to say this is going to be a quilt, but I don’t know yet.I might put yellow between the flowers. We’ll see how it all progresses.

The blues you are using are so beautiful, serene and perfect. I think, I'm not so sure about the yellow, Maybe a very, very light blue or icy green might work better.
Sometimes you just have to work on what your heart leads you towards. I found that trying to push myself into a project I don't enjoy doesn't get me very far. Your flowers look great and some of the best ideas happen when there is no plan, Enjoy!
Nice, crisp, neat and speedy; these are all the adjectives I want to use for this quilt (?) to be.

ReplyDeleteWonderful Blue flowers
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to see how you arrange your flowers. I like the positive/negative lights and darks a lot!
