There
are six weeks left in the year and I still have three projects unfinished on my
New Year’s Resolutions list. Doesn’t
look good for getting them finished, does it? This week I pulled out my Plum
Panache beaded shawl and worked on it.
As much
as I want it finished, and especially want it finished by the end of the year, I
don’t know that I’ll be able to continue working on it now to get it done by
the end of the year. I’ll try for a few
more days and see how it goes.
It's funny how the end of the year makes us all speed up doesn't it? I am working on two pieces which won't get finished but am determined not to start anything else until I go am on holidays from 20 December! Perhaps knitting won't count as a new start? All the best for your "completing"
ReplyDeleteYou have come to the right country! In Japan there is a tradition that everything should be done by the end of the year, the house should be cleaned from top to bottom, all bills paid, all sorts of parties to give thanks for the year that has been... You should also have a new toothbrush prepared for the new year.
ReplyDeleteSo, hurry up and finish at least one of your projects for a real Japanese end of year celebration!
