Tablecloth Progress


This tablecloth fabric is pretty to look at and so nice to touch.  I’m stitching in hand to avoid any kind of hoop marks and I really like holding this piece. It’s smooth and soft.  I look forward to seeing this finished on my table.

    It's looking beautiful :) I like the monochromatic look....is that navy?

      It's closer to royal blue than navy. I'm using three strands of DMC floss 791.

    It is a very attractive design and the fabric looks nice to touch. Don't you find you have tension problems when you stitch without a hoop?

      I use stretcher bars for canvas stitching, but do most everything else in hand and don't have any problems.
