I’ve
started the Queen’s jewels. I’ve decided
to do the best I can with placement, but if they aren’t exactly right, I’m not
going to take them out repeatedly and mess up the silk threads underneath. I’m
going to try to do each little section in one sitting, but not to hurry with
the beads.
This is
going to be fun! Linking up with
Pintangle. I can hardly wait to see
everyone else’s hussif start.
The Queen's jewels look as good as those in the Tower of London! I look forward to your Crazy Quilt Hussif - it sounds really interesting.
ReplyDeleteI like the plans and love the jewels!
ReplyDeletethe queen looks beautiful, the jewels are gorgeous too. I'll wait to see how this is progressing. I like the fabrics for the hussif.

Your Queen is amazing. Looks so wonderful with the jewels.
ReplyDeletethere is so much work in your Queen! I've only found your blog recently so didn't see the earlier stages, but I see blackwork, bead embroidery, canvaswork... and is that pulled thread on her lace collar?
ReplyDeleteThe Queen looks great. The jewels are great.
ReplyDeleteGreetings, Manuela
Wow! Both are terrific!=)
ReplyDeleteI did finally post a finished picture of my queen. I like the way yours is coming out. The placement on the main necklace was the hardest for me. I messed with it for a long time and never was truly happy with it.

Did you do the Elizabeth Heart by Gay Ann? I found the beads hard to put on at first, but I like your plan. I will be posting my Queen today too. But she is not nearly as far along as yours!
ReplyDeleteThe queen is beautiful, and her jewels look perfect.
