you can see, I’ve already stitched the year on this piece.When I began working on it in May, I thought
I would keep stitching until completed so I didn’t think it would be a problem.
I should have known I would put it down before completing it!Now, with only 11 of the 30 letters and numbers
complete, I need to finish one about every three days until the end of the year
or I will be unstitching the last number and replacing it. (Not something I
want to do).I did finish the “0” and
start on the “2” this week.
I know your dilemma! On my Swedish cushion I have also added 2014 so it needs to be completed at least by New Year's Eve. Good to see you have made a time frame for it, and I am sure you will succeed. It is a lovely piece, by the way.
This looks great! Don't worry about the year, you can always see it as the year you started this piece. I ones finished a project much later and added a second date of finishing.
