Monday Morning Star Count - Sakana Daigaku

There is a fictional school in our Japanese textbook called Sakura Daigaku (Cherry Blossom University).  I think this piece looks like Sakana Daigaku (Fish University). I haven’t put a stitch in the big quilt this week because this sewing machine cover has been taking all my attention.






 
I’m not done yet.  I think it needs some beads.

      Thank you! it is totally handmade! Funny that the cover for a machine doesn't use the machine to make it.

    You've added so many more details from the photos you shared last week. I love all the little schools of fishes. And those jelly fish are really cool they way you stitched them.

    This project popping up always makes me smile. I totally think it needs beads too haha. My favorites are still those adorable turtles with their floppy flippers~ :D

    Thank you! The little fish are individual chain stitches with a straight stitch in the middle and two tiny straight stitches for the tail.
