I laid
out the 210 hexagons I had already made, but I was short a few. I quickly basted a few more. After moving and changing things around for
most of the day, this is what I think I’ll go with.
I plan
to make a tie and attach it to the top. I’ll need to make 50 or 60 more
hexagons to back the edges, but that can come later. For now, I’ve started stitching the greens
together.

ReplyDeleteThe layout looks fantastic.

Nice work. I like using hexagons for useful projects. An apron is a great idea.
ReplyDeleteHa ha! I also don't cook but could see me making an apron! Your layout looks great.
ReplyDeleteAn EPP apron?! Pamela, that's a 'show' apron for sure! What a great idea, can't wait to see how it comes together, will you back it with fabric?
ReplyDeleteYes, after I get it together and embellish it, I will back it with fabric.
DeleteYou sure do like EPP if you are making an apron using it. Love all the colours and it will look amazing when it is finished. Not sure I would want to use it though! I agree with Anthea it's a show apron .
ReplyDeleteThat is going to look beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun idea! I never considered an apron but then again, i cook and *need* an apron to keep this messy cook clean :-)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous layout! I love the colors and the scene.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteWow! Your hexies are fabulous! I love the layout. The squirrel in the tree, bunnies and the little girl are such fun details. What an amazing apron this will be!
