Take A Stitch Tuesday - #12 Barred Chain

The barred chain is a new stitch for me.  I tried out a short seam on the pink block and added white seed beads.


Next I tried out the alternating barred chain on the green block, adding sets of three seed beads.

    I haven't tried this stitch yet, but I have it on my list of stitches to use. I had never seen it before the TAST post and I'm glad I saw yours before I tried it. I especially like how you have added the beads.

    These are both fabulous! Your stitching is all so even. I love the clusters of 3 seed beads on the alternating barred chain stitch. Beautiful work!
