The
wolves and the deer were outside.
The
tropical monkey area was closed outside (they are “tropical”, after all), but
they were still on display inside.
The
reptile house is one of my favorite places at the zoo, summer or winter,
although most of them were asleep this trip.
There
were a few other animals to see inside.
Other
than the people who work at the zoo, I pretty much had the place to myself. Nice, wasn't it?
I would find it a bit spooky! Glad you enjoyed yourself.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure I would give a thought to going to the zoo by myself, though I have taken my grandkids there many times. Some times I was mesmerized and other times just plain entertained. Not sure I would want to be thre in the snow though!!

Beautiful snowy photos and for being winter you got to see a lot of the zoo residents. Stay warm, and I was thinking 40's and 50's were cold.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you enjoyed the zoo. I have never been to a zoo in the snow and it certainly looks cold! Your photographs are lovely.
ReplyDeleteWonderful snow photos....I guess the cold weather animals don't mind the snow.....not such a huge fan of the reptiles although I love frogs!
