Six a.m. Vegetables

While out walking a few days ago, I came across this little vegetable stand outside someone's house. This person gets up earlier than me!  I bought some cucumbers, leaving my 100 yen coin.  This is one of the things I love about Japan.

  1. I wish I lived closer to you! 200 yen for edamame on the stalk is CHEAP.

  2. What a great idea! One of the things I liked about NZ was that you could always find fruit or veg at road side stalls, avocado 6 for $1.00. Never seen that in OZ!!

  3. We often stop at roadside "honor" stands while driving through the country. We opt for country roads in lieu of highways when we can.
