Deja Vu

Two years ago, I had surgery for cancer.  I've had check ups and blood tests every other month as follow-up.  Earlier this summer the blood tests detected a problem and I've had all kinds of tests and scans to determine what the problem is.  Long story short, I'm checking into the hospital today, with surgery to remove this new cancer scheduled for tomorrow. I think it will all turn out okay.

I've written and scheduled posts to pop up each day, just as if I were home. I plan to be home before they run out, but it may be out of my control. I'll be back as soon as I can!

  15. Dear Pamela,
Oh dear, your understated message siunds so brave and dignified. A huge hug to you. I will be thinking of you in Switzerland, sending healing vibes. I hope the hospital experience isn't too baffling. My one experience of Japanese hospitals left me impressed, but also pretty puzzled. I hope they take good care of you. JJ
