This miniature portrait of Mary Queen of Scots is a companion piece to Queen Elizabeth. Mary and Bess of Hardwick are smaller and just feature the head, not the body and arms like the Queen.
I haven't completed much so far. I basted (in white) and started on the frame around her head.
This is one of my 17 in 2017 pieces, so I hope to make considerable progress on it in the coming weeks.
Your 'Queen Elizabeth' project turned out so beautiful! I enjoyed reading your dilemmas and how you decided to work through them, very inspiring. I'm sure this piece will be just as beautiful and interesting.
