One of the stitchers was wearing a pair of earrings with a small peyote stitch square that she had purchased. We all admired them and I took a photo, thinking how easy it would be to make them.
My beads were still out from the beady strap project, so I made two little squares.
I tried making a little tube, but the order of the beads was not quite right, so I tried again and this was what I wanted. (left no, right yes).
I made a second tube, then connected the square and the tube with some more beads and added a few more. This is what I ended up with!
Oh, those are fun. I used to make so much jewelry and sold at local shows. Now I have been loving working with fabric. Sometimes I get the urge to bead embroider. I'm sure sometime I will get back to beading...just not now. Love your earrings. xx, Carol

ReplyDeleteThose are gorgeous! The tubes look pretty difficult to make on such a small scale.
