Sakura Tea

The cherry trees are in bloom elsewhere in Japan, but they are late here in our area of Shizuoka.  They are just beginning to bloom.   In the meantime, I am drinking sakura tea.

  2. and here in Tokyo we are beginning to sweep up fallen petals. The rain has spoiled much of the sakura season this year. I hope you get lots of SUNSHINE in Shizuoka!

  5. Beautiful packaging. I think that would be a treat to see in my cupboard and I imagine a brewed cup would warm me up!

  6. I am wondering how the tea tastes. I have never acquired a love of tea, except iced tea. I love raspberry tea.

  7. I know the Japanese love their sakura flavour...I haven't quite figures it out yet. The stuff I had so far just tasted sweet and mildly flowery...is the tea any good?
