I Can't Stop!

Since starting the embellishing, I've had a hard time putting this project down!  I stitch on it before work, during my lunch hour, and after work until past what should be my bedtime.  Maybe this weekend I will put it aside and work on something else for awhile.

Do you have projects that you just can't stop working on?

  3. Soooo beautiful ! I can understand why you can't leave it : the more you work on it, the more it's getting gorgeous. Congratulations, Pam !

As to me, I'm busy embroidering on a patchworked wallhanging. I made the top looong ago, and it suddenly appealed to finish it properly... Now, the more I embroider, the more I find Something to add! It's like an endless story LOL
(I'll soon be posting about it)

    In stitches,

Hmm....I love cross stitching, wish I could work on it all the time, but real life invades. Lol

  8. Gorgeous work Pamela, so pretty. I once embellished a brown and pink quilt top, just couldn´t stop for weeks, then all of a sudden I realized how big the thing was and stopped. I chopped it up a year later and made cushion covers for my daughter.

  9. It's exciting to see your work progressing, Pamela!

Every new project is exciting at the time of starting, unfortunately if I get to a tricky decision it usually disappears into my "Dreaded Cupboard"!

    Have a lovely weekend!

  10. This is the kind of crazy quilt I love. What I call vintage...not Romantic with all the frau frau laces etc.

  11. The rewarding thing with crazy quilting is that the seams are short. You can finish a seam quickly and move to another before you get bored. You can add new stitch combinations until you are satisfied. That makes this kind of stitching 'non-stoppable'.
Yes, I have had several 'I'll just stitch a bit more' projects.

  12. We know how you love your embellishing, and it looks great! I get that 'can't put down' feelings with projects sometimes, and usually it's not what I *should* be working on...
