The week goes by so quickly! I stitch every day, but I have so many projects on the go, that I don't have much to show on each one. This week I worked on making some Japanese fabric hexie flowers that I will later use to decorate something else.
Week 9 of the temperature quilt June 25 - July 1
74, 79, 76, 77, 80, 78, 85
I really can't complain about the heat of summer yet, but I think it will start getting warmer now in July.
This is my temperature/color (Fahrenheit) scheme:
100 + Brown
90-99 Red
80-89 Orange
70-79 Yellow
60-69 Green
50-59 Blue
40-49 Purple
30-39 Pink
20-29 White
10-19 Black
It will get hotter! Better check out your stash of red and brown fabric.
ReplyDeleteHi Pamela you are doing well with your hexies xx
ReplyDeleteProgress, Pamela!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like the Japanese fabric is formal and stiffer maybe taking a little more effort
to be turned into a hexagon?
We have ups and downs, after the heat wave it has become a lot cooler - much to my delight :) Last week temperature hexes here would have been green and blue.
ReplyDeleteGreat, your new hexies.
Hi Pamela, Your hexies are looking great! Love the colours you are using.
ReplyDeleteOur weather has cooled considerably here, today our thermostat says 20.5 and I feel quite chilly, although really that is still quite warm.

I like your colourful hexies.
ReplyDeleteAnother great week. So I guess we can expect some red to show up soon?
ReplyDeleteHow lovely fabrics, Pamela!
ReplyDeleteEnjoying your hexies in all their glorious colour.
ReplyDeleteAs much as I am looking forward to using other colors in our temp rosettes, I am not really looking forward to the hotter temperatures. Your quilt is coming along quite nicely!!
