After visiting the Yamamiya Sengen-jinga, I was treated to a wonderful lunch at a beautiful traditional Japanese restaurant.
The group was lively and fun. One of the group members entertained us with a re-enactment of Jirocho, a famous character in this area from the mid-1800's.
A wonderful lunch with kind friends in a fabulous restaurant. The day wasn't done! While waiting for the Yabusame Festival to begin, we had an origami lesson, learning to make Mt. Fuji and cranes.
After the origami lesson, we headed to the Yabusame venue and our special seats. That post is coming soon!
Oh my goodness Origami, it looks hard.
