The Neighborhood Shrine

While walking around I happened upon this little shrine.  I wonder what they are celebrating.

    I don't think they are celebrating any special event.
    I it is an inarijinja, and they usually have a number off red gates, and statures of foxes. Read this:

    A new neighborhood, and new things to explore! There always seems to be a reason to celebrate in Japan.
