Vacation Stitching

I always bring three projects on vacation, just in case. This is what I decided to take to Hachijo Jima. I want to attach this year's temperature hexies to their background, and I have two new cross stitch projects that I plan to start.  One is a house picture using DMC flower thread and the other is an ornament kit. I hope to show progress when I return.

  1. Those look like good projects to take along.
I looked at the map in your previous post, the island looks like it's far away from Tokyo
and I think I see hot springs? Are you going to soak in the hot springs?
    Have fun, Happy New Year!

  5. Your stash of projects must be huge! You haven't done any cross stitch for some time, have you? I hope you find time to work on all three.

  11. Great choices! The two kits looks nice and travel sized, but the quilt sure is ambitious to take along. I'm looking forward to seeing your progress!
