My friend and I made plans to meet at the Prefectural Art Museum yesterday afternoon. It was such a beautiful day. I had about a 15 minute walk from the train station to the museum and saw some interesting things along the way.
Outside the museum is a sculpture garden.
The lower right corner of the sign is braille. |
Always good to go on days out with a friend. The statues are great, nice to see the spring bulbs.
ReplyDeleteHi Pamela what a lovely place to visit,so much to see and how lovely that you got to do it with a friend xx
ReplyDeleteIt looks like spring is definitely heading your way, with blossoms and jonquils out.
ReplyDeleteYes, it does look like spring has sprung!
ReplyDeleteGood day for a walk and tour, sunny and bright.
The Rode wing has an interesting ceiling letting in lots of light.
ReplyDeleteHow lovely -- looks like a really terrific day. I was shocked when we visited Japan back in -- when? 1990, maybe? -- in February how many flowers were out in some of the cities, even though still somewhat cold. I am so dying to see flowers blooming from the ground! What a wonderful day.
ReplyDeleteHow lovely the sign was in braille too.
ReplyDeleteA very interesting museum to visit,
What a fun museum! Everything is better with friends. I have a hard time going out and exploring on my own.
