I stayed on the ship during the day when we were in Mahon Menorca, Spain and stitched in the Living Room.
The Living Room was a great place to hang out and stitch and meet with other stitchers. There was a mini sandwich and tiny dessert buffet every day between noon and 4 pm and tapas after 5 pm. There was also a full bar, but mostly I drank diet coke or coffee. It was on the 10th floor at the front of the ship so the lighting and view were both great. And the chairs were so comfortable! It was the perfect stitching area.
That night was Aza-Mazing Night, another signature of the Azamara Cruiseline. In Mahon, Menorca, Spain, everyone got off the ship and was taken by bus to a theater for a modern flamenco dance show.
Before the start of the show, the ship's captain welcomed everyone.
My friend is okay, but a little tired, so she accepted a ride.
This looks like such a fun cruise and it was nice you could see the countries as well as stitch. I love the pieces you shared. They're really beautiful.
Pamela: Your designs are lovely.
ReplyDeleteHow sweet that they helped your friend, that is so nice to see.
I hope you are having a great time.

They don't give you a chance to be bored on the cruise, do they. Always an interesting activity to be involved in.
ReplyDeleteThis cruise is so much more than just stitching! Still you found the perfect place to sit and work with needle and thread.
ReplyDeleteMore fun and entertainment!
ReplyDeleteI'd like a well staffed/stocked 'living room' like that too.
Pampered guests are happy guests, good for business.

ReplyDeleteYour stitching looks lovely, sounds like you get to have great outings from the boat.
ReplyDeleteOh wow! I would have had a hard time every day, deciding whether to go out and explore or just stay in and stitch. The show sounds amazing as well.
