Last week I went to Kyoto for the New Year Holiday. I stayed at Fujitaya BnB. This Christmas tree was in the living room area. I like the traditional Japanese themed felt ornaments and want to try to make some myself.
The Kyoto Tower as seen from the Kyoto train station at night
The ornaments are lovely! They look like they have been stamped out with a die (dye? I'm not sure...)so some may be harder to duplicate--maybe cut out an outline and use smaller bits of felt where they are cut out or do some of your beautiful embroidery. I'm sure you'll find a creative way to make it work. Maybe painting onto the felt....
The tower is beautiful all lit up.
ReplyDeleteAnd the felt Christmas tree ornaments are unique, fun idea to make some for yourself.
Pamela: I love seeing other country's way of celebrating Holidays.
ReplyDeleteThe ornaments are lovely I love the Cat.

The ornaments are cute, I especially like Mount Fuji and the Cat. They don't look too difficult to make, either!
