Stitching with Friends
We met on Monday (Mountain Day and a national holiday in Japan) and continued with our Ainu coasters.
One stitcher bought an inexpensive summer top and is adding chicken scratch. She will continue on the other side. Isn't this great?
On to the Ainu coaster stitching - - -
This is what their projects looked like at the end of the session. (Mine was shown on yesterday's post .)
After stitching, we enjoyed some cool summer treats.
I had to stop in for the fun! Very beautiful projects and the chicken scratch is a good embellishment.
ReplyDeletePerfect treats for sure. It does my heart good to share, thank you.
I don't know which I love most -- the stitching or the treats!
ReplyDeleteLovely to get together with your stitching friends.
ReplyDeleteThe stitching on the summer top looks wonderful.
The chicken-scratch embroidery is a great way to personalise and enhance a plain top. Clever idea!
ReplyDeleteIt is lovely to see your stitching friends are still stitching away. We haven't been able to have any stitching get-togethers since about March.
The Ainu coasters looks really interesting, but I also love the chicken scratch! What a cool upcycling project.
