Jo at Serendipidous Stitching is hosting a Stitch A Long the first Saturday of the month, with the topics chosen by her readers. This month's topic is Freedom.
Freedom can be used to describe many things. I'm using it to describe things that I create myself; the freedom to make whatever I want. Here are some of my original stitching items.
Do you give yourself the freedom to take a rest? You are SO productive, and all these things are your own design, too. You didn't take advantage of someone else's idea, design, instructions or kit. How can one chose a favourite? I am impressed with the patience you have had to make the yo-yo shawl and the hexagon bed size quilt, but the birdhouses are so charming.
Thanks for taking part in The People's Choice this month. A wonderful look at the freedom to explore your crafting skills. We could almost have had hexagons as a sub-theme too. I adore the bird box hanging from the ornament tree.
What a wonderful collection of beautiful things you have made.

I like your cobweb bag especially.

Your free-form projects are my favourites, you have such a creative mind!
