Work In Progress Wednesday

The Fashionable Ladies might be done, or I might add a few more purses.  Next I will decide how to finish finish them.

The afghan stitching is done, but the fringing is still left to do.

  1. Wow, you've worked fast and hard on that glorious Afgan!
My favourite outfit is still the Christmas dress. Have I seen the twins before? It is nice but unusual to see so many women in dresses and skirts. In these days there would have been so many more trousered ladies.

  3. The afghan is very beautiful, and so are your ladies. I only recently found your blog, and I am very curious as to where you found the ladies?

  4. Lauriejo,
Thank you! You are a no reply commenter, so I hope you come back to read this.

The ladies are from Lecien Fabric, and the line is called quilts 1989. We ordered them online here in Japan, but I can’t find the website now. If you google it maybe there is a US source.

  7. This is such fun! Will it be a pillow? A hanging? A center piece for a quilt? It's really darling.

  10. I viewed these Ladies a short time back but had not enlarged them. Now I see your individual stitches adorning them- a wonderful idea and outcome. This could be a great way to teach young girls to learn stitches.
