This climbing wall is near the train station in the town where I live. I took a couple of pictures as I was walking by. It was a pretty day, perfect for this activity.
I watched a bit of the climbing from the Tokyo Olympics. It was quite amazing, but it is a sport I can't watch without my heart being in my mouth. Just seeing the wall without anyone on it makes me anxious.
Those walls totally freak me out but I'm sure climbers just love them!

ReplyDeleteThis new sport has become very popular in Japan. A great idea for younger people, but for me...I would only challenge this wall if I were Spiderman!
