Every month, on the first Saturday, Jo at Serendipidous Stitching hosts a Stitch A Long, with the topics chosen by her readers. This month's topic is Quilts.
I've made big full size fabric quilts, but I won't post them here. I want to post my cross stitch quilts this month.
These are miniature quilts.
This Mill Hill kit is called Sapphire Quilted Cat.
The sapphire cat looks beautiful, love it! And I'm a great fan of miniatures (but it's certainly means one on one stitching not easy for me). xxx Amitiés.
Thanks for taking part in The People's Choice this month. I love that first tiny quilt, I thinik I could manage one that size! The quilty cat is gorgeous too.
Following on from the Cat Names post, I had a cat called Spook because she was very nervous. She was a black cat with white under fur so each hair was black with a white root. When you stroked her fur the wrong way the white appeared!
I have heard of the patchwork cat, a cat who loves his patchwork quilt, but this one IS the quilt!
ReplyDeleteThe sapphire cat is very beautiful. It looks like an excellent porcelain.
ReplyDeleteYour cross-stitched miniature quilts are lovely!
ReplyDeleteIs it rude to find the slogan on the ruler hilarious?

ReplyDeleteThese are all really pretty but I especially love the first all blue and white!

Great post! I love all your real quilts, but these miniature ones are cute too.
