I made the kogin pieces I stitched earlier in the week into little brooches. Here they are front and back.
I bought this kit of pin making pieces at a stitching store in Shizuoka City some time back. It was a little fiddly putting the pins together because the kogin fabric was so thick, but I am pleased with how they turned out.
I haven't seen a pin-making kit like that before. It does look like it would be fiddly to do, but the end results are great! Terrific way to use and show off your lovely kogin work.
Hi Pamela: You did a wonderful job of finishing them, they are lovely.

ReplyDeleteThese are just lovely!
ReplyDeleteThey are lovely, all of them, and the finish is pristine. I have never seen such a fastening either. Japan is the country of inventions!
ReplyDeleteWell done for keeping going x
ReplyDeleteOh, these are cool! I love crafting kits you can make your own.
