Okinawa - Katsuren Castle and Awamari Park Museum

 Across the road from the castle entrance is the museum.






The clean, new looking museum had a lot of information in English.




















This castle model is the absolute best thing about the museum! The detail is amazing.








After the museum, it was back to the bus stop and then back to Naha.

    An interesting display. The signs seem to have better quality English explanations than many you have shown from other sites. The model gives a good indication of how the castle sits in the landscape, which photos can't always show.

    These Japanese museums always have such great details, I really like them.
