In the Fall of 2019, I took a Mediteranean cruise with a group of stitchers. When the ship stopped in Sardinia, I was one of twelve, who opted to take a class in Sardinian Filet. After the class, I didn't finish the project, and now, going on five years later, I picked it up again and stitched the upper right corner. We'll see if I can actually finish it!
Pamela: Interesting Filet design, looks kind of complicated, at least for me, nice progress on the Afghan, Japanese design is lovely, I like one small designs.
The Japanese pattern is interesting. First I saw only the four red capital Ts, left, right, up and down in each little square. Then I saw the sign for Buddhist temples in the white void in each square. I hope you will finish the Sardinian Filet piece. It will feel good once it is completed. Will you have the Christmas Treasures Aftan completed by Christmas?

I'm impressed you still remember how to do the Sardinian Filet after 5 years!
ReplyDeleteI love the neat Japanese pattern.
