After record breaking high temperatures this summer, Mt. Fuji is setting the record for the latest snowfall. Since records began being kept 130 years ago, this is the latest Mt. Fuji has been snowless. On average the first snowfall is October 2nd. Last year’s first snow was October 5th. The previous latest snowfall was October 26th, in both 1955 and 2016. Yesterday was rainy, so as soon as the sun comes up, I will be looking to see if that fell as snow on Mt. Fuji.🤞
I just love photos of Mt. Fuji. So majestic.
