New start - beady fobs. I had this piece of linen that I didn’t want to go to waste. It is perfect for making a few fobs. I think it is long enough to make about five fobs. These first two use DMC 106 and DMC 94.
New start - neckties hand stitched together with invisible thread.
Then I added some decorative stitching along the seams.
Oh, your Blackwork piece is fantastic. I am amazed how quickly you work.
Ties have always fascinated me. Often, the print/design is unique. It can hold a political stance, celebrate the season, and identify the wearer to others (old school tie, etc). It also adds a nice splash of colour to a dreary suit and white shirt. By joining these ties together, you can really enjoy comparing them.
I wonder what you are planning to make them into... A bag?

Hi Pamela: the Fobs are so pretty, I have one you made a few years ago. Love the neckties. Your Blackwork is amazing, so many lovely stitches'.

Do you keep a count of how many of these fobs you made by now? It must be close to a hundred!
