Work In Progress Wednesday - Trip Stiching

Not being able to go a day without stitching, I brought some small simple things on my trip to work on. Hotel lighting is not usually good, and train stitching needs to be small, so these projects fit the bill.

These fobs are good for using up small bits of fabric.

I made a good start on basting the little hexagons.

  1. For travelling, you need easy projects, that can be started and stopped quickly (Oh, there's the station where I must get off, Hurry, hurry!), that do not need a lot of material, tools or paper patterns. You have chosen the right ones; the cross stitch on Aida follows straight lines, you have made so many fobs you can do them in your sleep, and that goes for the basting of the hexagons, too.
Just don't forget to look out of the train window from time to time!
