Pear II
Margaret
sent me the chart and threads for Sampler Pear II a while back. I pulled out
her gift and a piece of 28 count linen yesterday and was surprised at how
quickly it stitched up. The charts for this pear and eleven others are available
at Samplers and Santas blog. I’m not sure how I will finish this one – maybe as
a Christmas ornament. I might stitch one
or two others before I decide.Pages

Japanese Princess in United States
Princess
Kako, granddaughter of Emperor Akihito and daughter of Prince Akishino, the
Emperor’s second son, is spending a month living with an American family in
Massachusetts. This is the
first solo trip abroad for the 18 year old princess, who is a freshman at Gakushuin
University in Tokyo. During her visit to the US, she will also go on a
sightseeing trip to Colorado, according to the Japan Times.

You sure whipped this up quickly! It is an unusual sampler, very nice.
Looks very nice. As you say these are very quick but satisfying.
