At Tokyo Disney, in addition to the sound of running water, the motion-activated noisemaker adds tweeting birds to the mix. Very cute, until a bunch of ladies are using the facilities at the same time...then it sounds a little like Alfred Hitchcock!

Being of the elder generation, one thing I hate about public restrooms is the lack of privacy. Now and then you get a little kid trying to look through the crack in the door. How Rude!! But I like privacy at home too. My little dog is always breathing at the bottom of the door letting me know he is waiting for me. THAT makes me smile.

Hightech toilets are one of the things I'm looking forward to when visiting Japan. I've heard so much about them now!
